Shipping & Returns


All items are shipped from North Vancouver, BC within three days of receipt of your order.  Items are shipped via Canada Post using their current rates and will be calculated for you during your online checkout.

In the unusual event there is an issue relating to an order please email within 14 days of delivery so I can help rectify the problem.  If there is a fault with the product I will be happy to help you with an exchange.  If the product is out of stock you will be offered a like product.  If you would prefer not to accept it and the item you are returning is unused, unworn, unwashed you will be offered a full refund. 

Bamboo Birdie will cover return postage for defective items.  For all other returns postage should be covered by purchaser.


Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed with labels attached.

Items purchased as a gift can be returned if unused, unworn, unwashed with labels attached for store credit.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping costs for returns are payable by customer.  If replacement items are requested they will gladly be shipped to you for free.

If an item has been worn it doesn’t qualify for a refund or store credit.


In line with our sustainability manifesto we gratefully receive returns of any Bamboo Birdie clothing that have been worn and loved but you can no longer use.  Email stating:

  • you have an end of use return

  • how many items you are returning

  • the size and item type e.g. 2t pants, three x 18 month t-shirts


You will receive an email containing a Policy Return Number (PR No.).

Pack the items in the original double seal returnable packing envelope or a suitable envelope of your choice.  

Take the package and PR No. to a Canada Post outlet and they will print the return label, attach it and put the package in the mail.

Postage will be paid by Bamboo Birdie.

No product exchange, store credit or refund can be given for return of end of use garments but you will receive kudos for keeping the item out of landfill and 10% discount for every item returned to be used against a future purchase.  Only one discount can be applied per item purchased.


One item returned - 10% off the highest priced item in your next transaction.  If you have multiple items of the same value the discount will come off one item only.

Three items returned - 10% off the next three items you purchase.  If you don’t buy three items in the next transaction the unused discount can be saved for a future purchase.  If you have three or more items in your next transaction a 10% discount will be given to the three highest priced items in the cart. If you have multiple items of the same value the discount will come off three items only.
